  6.  The following review of the CIS commands available for use in the Forum
  7.  CO area was written to help new users to utilize this powerful feature
  8.  easier and to introduce the new /TIM and /UST commands.  The list that
  9.  follows can be displayed by typing " /HEL " on any CO channel.  Prefix
  10.  commands with a "/"
  11.  
  12.   /TUN # - Tunes channel # (1-36)
  13.   /MON 1,4 - Listen to extra chnls
  14.   /UNM 7,3 - Unmonitor channels
  15.   /STA - Type channel status
  16.   /TIM - Type time, day, and date
  17.   /UST - User STatus typeout
  18.   /EXI - Exit CB Simulator
  19.   /WHO - Type PPN of last talker
  20.   /HAN - Change handle
  21.   /SCR xyz - Scramble on key "xyz"
  22.   /SMC xyz - Scr & Monitor Clear
  23.   /XCL xyz - Xmt CLear; unscr rcvr
  24.   /UNS - Unscramble (both clear)
  25.   /SQU abc - Squelch handle "abc"
  26.   /JOB - your job #
  27.   /HELP - Type this message

  29.   The 2 newest commands, display the
  30.   current time and user status as:

  40.  And one other undocumented (here) command available on channels 0-8 is
  41.  the random set of DICE useful in ways left to your creativity.  The 2
  42.  numbers are displayed to all users on the "ROLLers" channel at the same
  43.  time in a fashion that prohibits any cheating!  <Try it!>

  49.   Some useful <ctrl> characters are:
  50.    (ctrl represented here as "^")
  51.     ^V =this will display the line you
  52.         have typed, but not yet sent
  53.         with the <return> key, to your
  54.         screen only. Useful when many
  55.         people are typing at once.
  56.     ^U =deletes entire line before it
  57.         is transmitted with <return>
  58.     ^C =exits the CO area and returns
  59.         you to the Forum main menu or
  60.         Function: prompt
  61.     ^P =this is used to abort the
  62.         bulletin displayed during the
  63.         CO entry. The next line you
  64.         see is the same as the /STA
  65.     ^O = aborts entry bulletin and
  66.         the CO user status.

  68.     "Unofficial CO Protocol" used on
  69.   most CIS Forums:
  70.      1. Don't sneak in and "LURK"-
  71.         Announce your arrival.
  72.      2. You may only type 80 char.
  73.         per line. Type "..." at the
  74.         end of your line to show you
  75.         will continue.
  76.      3. Type a single "." or " ga. "
  77.         meaning " go ahead" when done.
